Our 18-point maintenance includes everything on the tag below, missing nothing. Especially gunk. Gunk is the big worry in a steam system. Gunk can clog the condensate returns, the gauge glass, or the pressuretrol pigtail. Each one of these can result in a no-heat call. Usually on the coldest day of the year when your boiler is working it’s hardest. So we come well prepared with pumps and brushes to flush it all away. Every winter we see way too many no-heat calls, and in almost every case the boiler had not seen annual mainteance in the past year. You don’t want to be those guys! An ounce of prevention from us is going to save you a lot of pounds to pay for the cure.
